How to compress images and/or sounds

To compress images (costumes + backdrops) and sounds, go into the Edit menu and select either Compress Sounds (to compress sounds), or Compress Images to compress images.

Options for compressing sounds

High (biggest):      reduces sound to 31.25% of its original size (5 bits/sample)
Normal:               reduces sound to 25.00% of its original size (4 bits/sample)
Low:                    reduces sound to 18.75% of its original size (3 bits/sample)
Lowest (smallest): reduces sound to 12.50% of its original size (2 bits/sample)

Luckode will not compress built-in sounds (sounds in the Media\Sounds folder).

Options for compressing images
A dialog will open with a number option (between 1 and 100). Pressing OK will compress all but built-in images to a JPEG of the selected quality.

NOTICE: Prior to Luckode 9.x, images could only be compressed to a JPEG quality of 10 to 100.
